You need a ‘CLASS FILE’ for each class. The purpose of all this is so that a ‘new’ teacher could instantly get up to speed with the class dynamics, level and ability of the students. Download the ‘Teacher Files-All-in-one’ and print them out for each class. You’ll need a, ‘Year at a Glance’, file too. There is a different one for each textbook. Download the files that you need and print them out. Insert the, ‘Year at a glance’, sheet into the appropriate place.
For classes that are carrying over to the new year, you should bring last year’s information with you to the new file. Eg. The ‘Coversheet’, ‘Greeting Questions progress’, ‘Phonics progress’ etc. You can either transfer this information to the new sheets, or just discard the new sheets and use the old ones. Last year’s lesson notes are not needed.
