We introduce to concept of ‘going to + ..verb..’ and how it is used to discuss things that we have planned to do in the future. We compare this to ‘will + verb’ which is used when we first get an idea to do something. The vocabulary of ‘chores’ (verb + noun) is introduced and used while reviewing the vocabulary of ‘family members’ along with the usual barrage of ‘Wh-’ questions. The words, ‘morning, afternoon, evening and night’ are also a new feature.

The recommend game from the paper manual, #FTY-03# -‘Do you VERB NOUN?’ using ‘Will you …?’ is under review. As mentioned previously, the 50/50 guessing concept doesn’t work well in the future tense, eg. ‘Do you study Russian?’ , ‘No, I don’t.’ makes sense as they currently don’t. However, ‘Will you study Russian?’ is impossible to say. A replacement game is being sought.
