Instead of, ‘Where is the …bear…?’ , ‘It’s in/on/under the ..car ..’. Practice plural and singular nouns using the FRUIT (#YEL109#) cards. Have the students ask, ‘Is the ..orange.. / Are the …. pineappleS …. in, on under the … tree..?’ See the Mini-Grid Game below.

Review what was taught in Blue Book 4 ie. ‘There is a …melon.. (in, on, under, etc.) the ..book… ‘ and ‘There are some …melonS.. (in, on, under, etc.) the ..book… ‘ – See ‘#SPC-63#’ – Still Life’ below.
3 - TIME & PLACE based Prepositions.
In Green Book 3, the students learned about, ‘at ..TIME’, ‘on ..DAY…’ and ‘in ……month/season/year…….’. In Blue Book 4, we will introduce the students to, ‘in …ROOM…’, ‘at …BUILDING..’, and ‘in …town/country….’. The 2nd BINGO GAME (below) covers these 2 concepts. It might be a little difficult for ‘Green Book 3’ students.
1 & 2) - Preposition based games for location.
The CHORUS of this song is the key. Stand up and have the kids act out the words so that they know which word means what. See picture above. When students have trouble, hum the song while mimicking the actions, to jog their memory.

NEW! Battleship Bingo
Each team gets 5 chips (Battleships) and places them on a Bingo Sheet, that is kept hidden from the opposition – In turns, each team tries to ‘bomb’ the other teams ‘Battleships’ by saying a sentence, eg. ‘The cat is on the chair’. If the opposition has a ‘battleship’ on that square, it is out. The last team with a ‘battleship’ left wins. Each team will need a 2nd ‘Bingo Sheet’ to keep track of the sentences that they have already said.
