There are many levels to this and ways to make it more challenging. Remind the students that they already know 4 of these words from the Greeting Questions, “What’s your/his/her/my name?, ‘My/your/his/her name ..’

1- Use Names with apostrophe 's'

This is Sarah’s bag.

2 - Use Possessive ADJECTIVES

This is her bag.

3 - Use Possessive NOUNS

This is hers.

1) Apostrophe 's'

‘How to’- #SPC-67#- Whose hat is this? (split memory)

‘In Action’- #SPC-67# – Whose hat is this? (split memory)

‘Kids Vid’- #SPC-67#- ’15 minute Video Version of the game.

The ‘Rhythm Game; shown below is a much more effective way to teach these words than the ‘fun’ game above. Older, more advanced students should be doing this instead of the game above. This Rhythm game can be fun too, especially if you acknowledge how hard it is and make mistakes yourself too.

1- Add Plural Nouns

Whose bag is this? This is Sarah’s bag. Whose shoes are these? These are her shoes.

2 - Add 'this,that, these, those'.

Whose bag is this? That is Sarah’s bag. Whose shoes are these? Those are her shoes.

2) Possessive Adjectives with the Rhythm Game
