1-Pronouns

Learn the 7 PRONOUNS and associated VERBS, ‘I am.., He is .., They are ..’ etc.

2 - Sentences

Learn to make POSITIVE and NEGATIVE sentences. ‘He is a doctor.’ or ‘He is not a doctor.’ 

3 -Questions

Learn to turn sentences into questions by flipping the PRONOUN and the VERB. ‘He is a doctor.’ > ‘Is he a doctor?’ etc. Answer in FULL sentences, ‘Yes, he is doctor.’

4 - This, That

Learn about, ‘THIS, THAT, THESE and THOSE.

BLUE BOOK- Take a look at the first page of the first unit, ‘WAS/WERE’. Now do it in the past tense, ‘I was.., They were ..’etc.
OTHER BOOKS – Try the ‘past tense.’

Try using contractions: ‘He isn’t a doctor.’

Try using the PAST TENSE eg. ‘He was a doctor.’ or ‘He was not a doctor.’

Once they have mastered FULL sentence answers (‘No, he is not a doctor’), allow them to use shortened answers, ‘No, he is not.’ and eventually, ‘No, he isn’t.’
