BLUE BOOK 4 UNIT 3: Big, Bigger, Biggest

Students review COMPARATIVE ADJECTIVES (big, bigger) etc. and then go on to learn about SUPERLATIVES, (the biggest.) ANIMALS are reviewed and compared using the ANIMAL ADJECTIVES with students talking about the differences, eg. ‘A horse is faster than a cow’. ‘WHO’ and “WHOSE’ are studied comparing the different body parts of 2 different ‘monsters’, eg. ‘Who has longer legs?” and ‘Whose legs are longer?’ Finally, we look at the use of, ‘too …adjective…’ and ‘not ..adjective.. enough’ to critique drawings.
