was & were

The UNIT introduces the words ‘was’ and ‘were’ and the concept of the ‘PAST’. ‘It is a frog, it was a tadpole’. The UNIT RECAPS concepts and vocabulary taught in previous books; weather, feelings, animals and prepositions (in, on, under) along with the ‘time’ related prepositions (at TIME, on DAY, in MONTH). It also uses a variety of WH- Questions, eg. ‘HOW was he on Tuesday?’, ‘WHAT was it at 3 o’clock, ‘WHERE was it in September?’

NOTE! : ALL of the main points of this UNIT are summarized in the cards #BLU401# - SUPER SAMSIES - WAS/WERE by playing SUPER SAMSIES BASIC, #SPC-41#. While this game has been selected for the end of the unit, it could be played at anytime and SHOULD be played in the future as a way of recapping the UNIT.
