This UNIT formally introduces the ‘S RULE’; the SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE requires that we have to put an ‘S’ onto the end of the verb if the subject is HE, SHE or IT.  “I live in Tokyo – He lives in Tokyo.” “Do you/they…? questions become “Does he/she/it …? In this UNIT we will;

1- Identify which pronouns need the ‘S’ and practice flipping between the 2 styles, ‘I play..’ ‘He plays…’

2- Questions with ‘WHAT’- What does (he/she) eat, drink, play?  etc.

3- Questions with ‘WHEN’- (days of the week) When does (he/she) play tennis? What does (he/she) do on Monday?

Let’s Learn 1 – Remember the ‘S’ -Rule? We sometimes need to add an ‘S’ to the verb. ‘Do’ becomes ‘Does.’
