NOUNS Unit
This unit introduces NOUNS, ‘things’, (blue words). Vocabulary sets of 12 ‘Fruits’ or 12 ‘Classroom items’ are to be learned. The concept of ‘plurals’ is introduced, adding an ‘s’ to the nouns. We learn to ask questions, ‘What is this?’ and ‘What are these?’ and use the pronouns from Unit 1 to answer, ‘It is a …’ and ‘They are …s’. We learn to talk about things near and far from us using, ‘This is a …’, ‘That is a …’, ‘These are …’ and ‘Those are ….’
